An unusual low pressure system will develop and bring further rain to parts of the UK over the coming days.
Why is the low unusual I hear you ask? Well it’s unusual in the fact that it will develop in the North Sea just west of Denmark, then track north/northwest towards Scotland before pulling a big u turn and heading down the English coast and virtually back to where the low initially developed.
This will bring further rain and windy weather across the UK but its Scotland that will take the biggest hit with the rain, with some areas seeing over 100mm of rain.
There should be rain to come for most areas over the next few days though which may ease some drought worries.
