Highs of 16C to 18C, feeling pleasant in any sunshine, though a brisk south-westerly breeze brings gusts of 25 to 35 mph near coasts and 20 to 30 mph inland around midday, easing through the evening.
Tonight is dry with long clear spells and light winds. Temperatures drop quickly to low single figures in rural spots, with a grass frost likely in sheltered areas by dawn. A dry, hazily sunny Thursday follows.
