Low pressure will generally dominate the weather over the next few days, with the flow largely coming from the west. This is likely to mean periods of rain and showers for most of us with the winds often blustery as well.
Temperatures will vary through the 4 days with some brief milder interludes mixed with colder periods although overall it is likely to remain on the cooler/colder side. This will mean some wintriness at times, however, this risk is mainly confined to higher routes in the region.
Below is a short animation charting rainfall, cloud cover and pressure for the next few days.
